About Phillip

Phillip first started his valuation career in 1972 in the Christchurch Valuation Department. Moving to Hamilton in 1981 Phillip commenced in private practice. This lead on to the establishment of Curnow Tizard in late 1987, coinciding with the worldwide stock market crash. Phillip has experienced a number of property cycles through out his career . He is well versed on the impact of these events.

Phillip is assisted by Registered Valuer Siânmarie White. They specialise in both commercial and industrial valuations as specified within the Commercial & Industrial Services page. Areas of expertise include  Hamilton and around the greater Waikato, covering Huntly, Raglan, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Morrinsville and Matamata in the main.

Phillip is enjoying the opportunity to continue share his knowledge and experience with Siânmarie. This combined approach is benefiting our clients in a number of ways, not least, the timeliness of reporting. Furthermore, Phillip is a long-standing member of the Valuers Registration Board as well as being a founding member of the Valuers Education and Integrity Foundation. Both of which are at the forefront of a valuers introduction to the educational and professional requirements of being a registered valuer under the Valuers Act 1948.

The specialist practice of arbitration and expert determination is an increasing part of Phillips practice, details of which can be found here
